If you’re a regular reader to this blog you’ll know I’m a devotee of the classic striped Breton top and simple styles. As a general rule, I prefer to wear simple, excellent quality basics with quirky jackets, shoes and accessories. Coming into this autumn/winter season, however, I’m hankering after something a little bit different. I’ve been so inspired by this month’s Elle Magazine (and I would never give them a mention here if I didn’t mean it, go check it out!) where there are so many beautifully detailed tops worn with a slightly gothic edge. This look is here to stay; it’s featured over the last few seasons and has finally become a staple trend, one that runs and runs and never loses its appeal.
